Editing The Magazine (Day 3)

The final day! We finished our magazine today. We actually changed quite a lot, and added a lot more. What we did:
. Added a website (www.melody.com) above the masthead, giving the readers to catch up with us online
. Changed the Jonas Brothers text. It now reads: WIN! "2 Tickets To Watch Us Live In Concert!" (giving the impression that they are part of the magazine)
. We added a banner at the very top of the magazine, which says: "Free posters*games*puzzles*reviews&lots more!" This allowed us to include a lot more inside, and also persuade the reader more to buy the magazine, as it contained a lot of fun things for them to do.
. We added a story about Hilary Duff - she was to give fashion tips to the readers, as she has her own clothing line: "Stuff by Hilary Duff"
. We included "Behind the Scenes" gossip from the X Factor, as it has recently started again, and would still be on air during the release of the magazine "November." The X Factor can get addictive, and we all love reading about those juicy cat fights!
. We added a quote from Lisa, below the Main Sell Line (The interview with Lisa), where she is thanking everyone, and stating that she is "so grateful!"
. And finally, we added another section near the bottom, which tells of what other stars are also inside: "Also Inside... HSM3, Justin Timberlake, Xtina, McFly..."

I am pleased with how the magazine turned out, although I have noticed that we have made a mistake on Lisa's Quote (oops). We have spelt grateful wrong. It says "greatful." Sadly, I don't think we can change this, as we have flattened our entire cover. (Hopefully our readers will have bad spelling skills). Besides that, however, I am happy with the final piece. I was doubtful of how it would look in the beginning, but I think it's safe to say that I am reassured now.

The only thing left to do now is my evaluation, which needs to be finished by next Friday.
